We had an amazing time in England. We spent most of our time in the country visiting with family. It was so quaint like a story book. I could get used to the fresh moist air and beautiful countryside. We took a couple of days to explore London too. Everything was so old and had so much history. I do hope to go back. There is still so much to see!
I still haven't figured out how to make a post-able slide show. Oh well.
We spent last weekend in Louisville, Kentucky. My home town. We drove down on Saturday, but spent the day at the Cincinnati Zoo and botanical garden. That is the best zoo that I have ever visited. It's just so pretty! Sadly I left my camera in the car so I didn't get any shots.
We just got back from a week at the sea. It was so nice to slow our pace down a bit and really enjoy the moment and being with each other. It seems that at home we always have something going on or things that we should be doing. On vacation there is nothing. No agenda, no plans, no clock. Just us lazily floating through our days, collecting seashells, building sandcastles, chasing crabs, swimming in the waves, flying kites, feeding the birds, playing games, resting. It was also so nice to have Matt to ourselves for such a long stretch. If only we could do it more often.
