The weather has been perfect around here lately. If you don't mind a little bit of rain here and there. I have been appreciating waking up to cool rainy weather. Starting the day slowly, doing some laundry. Getting prepared for an inside day only to find the sun coming out after breakfast. We strip off our jackets and play outside until the clouds and rain drive us back in. Then we get cozy with a cup of tea and a book (my guilty pleasure at the moment) and wait for it to pass. The best of both worlds. Plenty of fun with mandatory rest!
With thoughts of colder days ahead I am finding myself knitting more often. I am actually making progress on the sweater! I am almost done with sleeve number one. I do get bored with it though, so I have to do something else here and there to keep interest. Yesterday I finished a winter hat for C. Not that I expect him to wear it. C is not a hat guy!
It was fun and quick. I got the yarn from a little shop in town called wisp. It's small, but she carries beautiful yarns! For this I used Spud & Chloe Outer. It is a beautiful soft organic cotton wool blend.
Maybe a wee sweater next?
so that's where you've been. Don't blame you a bit for being AWOL for awhile. The hat is great. I've been looking for a good book. Did you get it from the library? I may stop by tomorrow if you're little bubble over there can accomodate a few more.
